Ceramic Logan Campbells!
In 1840 Logan Campbell arrived in Auckland which was then capital of New Zealand. Tāmaki Makau Rau, the bride sought by a hundred suitors, a natural choice! He was one of the first Europeans to settle in the area and built the first house and opened the first shop.
Campbell is now known as 'the father of Auckland'.
So to say Happy Birthday to our city we've asked the very talented maker of our Captain Cooks, local artist Helen Adams , to make some Logan Campbells. Here they are, a band of wonderful Campbells all ready to hold your treasures.
These guys won't make it to the website so if you are out of town but would like one, please phone the shop on 09 366 7282. Thank you!

Pinterest.
If you are a Pinterest user you can now pin our photos directly from the blog! Just hover over the images and the Pinterest logo will appear, click and you're away laughing.
If you aren't a pinner yet, we recommend signing up, so much deliciousness to be seen and so much easier than printing, cutting and adding to a real life pin board at home (though that's fun too!)
Hover over the image below taken at Piha to see what we mean and see our Pinterest and follow us here!

This weather.
All of us here at Pauanesia hope you've been able to get out and enjoy this wonderful weather we've been having.
The sunset at Piha last night taken by one of our staff! Piha is a West Coast settlement, about 1 hour from central Auckland with the most magnificent beach. Popular with surfers and a major day-trip destination for Aucklanders. We love Piha!

Our new Kete Satchel's are finally online. We've had them in the store a good few weeks now and they've gone so well we figured we needed to make them available to everyone. The girls in the shop are all sporting them!
As a special treat we've also added them to our 12 specials, for a limited time they are just $29.00.
